A Step Toward Sustainability for Our Children
At Trust in God Children’s Ministry Uganda 🇺🇬, we believe that agriculture is not just a source of food—it is a path to sustainability, dignity, and a brighter future for the children under our care.
Currently, one of the biggest challenges we face is the lack of our own land. Without a permanent place to cultivate crops, it becomes difficult to ensure consistent food supply for the children. Despite this limitation, we have not given up.
As the founder of this ministry, I took a step of faith and managed to borrow a small piece of land. On this land, we have planted bananas (matooke), which at times provide essential meals for the children. Every harvest, no matter how small, is a blessing and a reminder that even little efforts can make a big difference.
However, this is only the beginning.
We have a vision to grow beyond survival—to establish a stable and sustainable agricultural project that can feed the children regularly and even support the ministry financially. With access to our own land, we would be able to cultivate on a larger scale, grow a variety of crops, and create a reliable food system for the orphanage.
This is where we humbly invite the support of kind-hearted sponsors and partners. Your support toward acquiring land for agriculture would transform lives. It would not only provide food security but also teach the children valuable skills in farming, responsibility, and self-reliance.
Together, we can plant seeds today that will feed and empower generations tomorrow.
