Guided by faith and fueled by love, we exist to give abandoned children a family, a future, and a foundation of hope.
To provide vulnerable children with food, clean water, shelter, education, healthcare, and emotional support, empowering them to overcome adversity and build independent, dignified lives.
A world where every child, regardless of their circumstances, grows up safe, educated, healthy, and empowered to reach their full potential.
These five principles shape every decision we make and every child we serve.
Every action flows from genuine love. Children don't just need services — they need to know they are loved unconditionally.
"Love never fails." — 1 Corinthians 13:8We see each child's pain and respond with empathy. We walk with them through healing and restoration.
"Clothe yourselves with compassion." — Colossians 3:12We operate with complete transparency. Every donation is accounted for, every promise kept.
"Live honorably in all we do." — Hebrews 13:18We give our best in everything — from meals to education to emotional care. These children deserve nothing less.
"Work at it with all your heart." — Colossians 3:23We are not an institution — we are a family. Children grow best when they belong.
"You are all one in Christ Jesus." — Galatians 3:28Our Christian faith is the foundation. We pray together, worship together, and trust God for provision.
"Faith without works is dead." — James 2:17We publish annual reports with detailed financials. Every dollar is tracked and reported.
All staff undergo background checks and safeguarding training. Strict protocols protect every child.
(13) students in our care receive quality education, from primary through secondary.
We address spiritual, emotional, physical, and academic needs — the whole child.
We don't abandon children at 18. We walk with them into young adulthood and independence.
"These children are not just numbers. They are our sons and daughters."
— Brother Syrus JjuukoWhat started as one young man opening his heart to one orphan has grown into a registered CBO caring for 25 children — but our heart remains the same.
"I never planned to start an organisation. I just said yes to one child. Then another. And another. God did the rest."
— Brother Syrus Jjuuko
Syrus Jjuuko was born in Uganda in 2001. He grew up in a humble family environment that shaped his resilience and strength from an early age.
In 2019, Syrus tragically lost his Father to COVID-19. This life-changing moment left him without father's support at a very young age.
Following the loss of his Father, Syrus survived on the streets for several years. These difficult experiences built compassion in his heart for vulnerable children.
Syrus began working in a factory to rebuild his life. During this time, he would pass by children in need and share whatever little he had with them.
His burden for vulnerable children grew stronger, and he began intentionally reaching out, supporting, and gathering children who needed care and guidance. This is when he founded "TrustInGod Children Ministry".
To date, Syrus serves as a father figure to 25 children, providing them with shelter, education, love, and a renewed sense of hope for the future.
